Earning in Conquest

A novel way to earn with your NFT!

As described in the Discord Conquest page, Battlefields and Bosses can earn real $. Most projects can only do this if you stake. Scribe doesn't need you to stake.. or do anything with a smart contract at all. Just activate an NFT, Level it up, and earn $ like a BOSS.

How Earn Money?

Method 1: Like a BOSSS

Do you have PFP-style NFTs you like? Level them up in Scribe and set them free as BOSSES in our games!

If you hold a Scribe MultiPass you can have your PFP-style NFTs wander the Metaverse in Discord Conquest (and web-based Conquest at some point!). They just need to be LVL 75+, and can be on any of the chains we support... ETH, Solana, AVAX, Cronos, POLY, and soon.. Flow and Kadena.

When a game needs a boss, it asks Scribe to find an eligible one. You might have stocked yours up with some LootShop weapons, special attacks, etc. They will pop up in the battle and make you proud!

After a match has started and the players are battling you, they may find a need to visit the shop to get some help in taking your Boss down a notch or two. They'll use Credits to do this, and they may need Credits FAST.

When your boss is summoned to a game and any player spends money or crypto in that game's Battlefield Shop to buy credits after the battle has begun, you get 10% of the purchase price.

Bosses can earn anywhere from $0.07 to $79 per day wandering around kicking butt while you do your thing and throw him some fresh meat once in a while.

To see what that could look like, jump to the numbers.

When a Method 2: Control the BATTLEFIELD!

Every Boss Battle in Discord Conquest takes places on a Battlefield. Every battle, especially the long ones, could make good use of a Shop! Get potions, single-use items, special perks or abilities, anything to get an edge in battle or make things more fun for everyone. Perhaps even a local wizard who can temporarily enchant weapons for the duration of the battle!

You're going to want to upgrade your Battlefield with rooms, traps, treasures, stories, and higher tier gear and shop items, etc. to keep players playing longer!

Anytime someone buys Credits in your Battlefield's Shop with money or crypto, you get 20% of the purchase price.

Battlefields can earn anywhere from $0.02 to $466 per day hosting battles while you clean up in the shop and keep things interesting for players.

To see what that could look like, jump to the numbers.

Just the Facts!

Here you go! We've modeled a few different scenarios based on some assumptions which you will find below.

There are 6M+ Discord Servers. Battlefield earnings scales dramatically as more servers invite the Scribe Discord Bot in to help boost community engagement.

If you can roughly agree with these assumptions we outline below, then the earning projections make sense. There are only 2400 total Battlefields (1200 on ETH, 1200 on POLY) so as the game sessions increase, those Battlefields will absorb the revenue, which is why as servers increase, Battlefield revenue goes up so high.

Bosses, on the other hand, will increase as word gets out, but higher level players will be looking for higher level bosses to fight, and you can keep your strong to stay up higher in the rotation. You need to own a MultiPass to be able to put a Boss to work, and not everyone will have one but they'll be looking for them :)

Scenario 1: Moderate level of success

In this scenario, the Intergalactic Play (aka Scribe) team hits all the targets in the spreadsheet: 50 sessions per server per day, 2% conversion on Shop Sales, $10 Average Purchase Size

Scenario 2: Aggressive level of success

In this scenario, the team builds some really fun mechanics and Shop Items and people are really enjoying the game! Scenario 3: Stupid level of success

In this scenario, there are several game modes built out, the team has a little funding and has really spread the word, buzz is flying, streamers are playing with their fans, and Conquest or varieties of it are playing on servers all over the world.. but still less than 1% of all Discord Servers! 100 sessions per server per day, 7% conversion on Shop Sales, $14 Average Purchase Size

Test the Assumptions

In order to fulfill any of the scenarios outlined above, you need to be able to agree on the basic assumptions behind the math. If you can't agree with any one of the points below, that's a sign that you should rethink your decision or come up with your own conclusions.

The assumptions for our model can be found in this table:

AssumptionNotes/Data/Things you should ask

There will be at least 50 Daily Game Sessions /Server

The test community is over 150 sessions per day! While this may be an outlier, it makes lower estimates seem very reasonable.

2% of those sessions will have a shop transaction

Will someone in a competitive group social gaming setting want to stay alive just a little longer, be a complete badass, or want to do something extra special every 50 games or so?

The average Purchase in those transactions will be $10

Will one or two player spend a combined total of $10 in the Shop to win or increase their group's enjoyment? Is the team creative and skilled enough to come up with items/abilities that are worth a $10 purchase?

The team can grow Discord Server count to 100+

The Scribe team and Discord Bot do a lot of other fun things which help communities, and are skilled at forging lasting relationships with communities. Teams tend to reach out to us to get involved, not the other way around.

The team can finish building the game as planned

The founders created the FB Game Developers Group (57k+ strong), worked on AAA Fantasy MMORPG, have been building Scribe in public for over a year, and have created one of the most innovative platforms in web3.. without funding and with a team of 2 people, 1 dev. Also, the basic game is already running :)

The game will be fun

The early test group is playing the game 10-30 sessions in a row with 1-8 players each time. Barely any features have been added. It's highly addictive and almost therapeutic with a fast game loop that deepens your personal investment into finishing.

See you on the Battlefield!
