Who is Scribe?

Yup. Scribe is made by actual people.

Scribe is the brainchild of these two knuckleheads, Dave and KT. On March 22, 2021, Dave sent KT the worst message ever. "Log into (a website) and send me your user ID. This is gonna be awesome!". It took half an hour and some serious on-the-phone interrogation before KT accepted that it really was Dave, and opened a browser window.

That was the start of something awesome. We have known each other since the late 1900's, having worked together in the kitchen of the single greatest scout camp in the universe. All manner of shenanigans, trouble, and lengthy D&D sessions happened that summer. Both of us are Eagle Scouts and proud fathers who were awarded custody of our respective children. We are both working as hard as we can to be sure we raise these kids right as best as we can. Scribe is what we are doing to make this happen. It started in early 2021 on a sidechain building games and tools for Creators. It has grown from that sidechain to helping many builders, artists, developers and businesses in Web3. We are here to grow ourselves and all those around us. Dave is the lead developer on Scribe. He founded a 50,000+ strong game developer group on Facebook that is still going strong. He worked at Lycos Gamesville, and at Warner Bros on the D&D Online, Lords of the Rings Online, and Asheron's Call products. He is a lifelong founder and builder, with extensive expertise in:

  • Full Stack Product Development

  • Community Building

  • Ad Tech

  • Cinema Tech

  • Fin Tech

  • Interactive Audience (Podcast and Cinema)

  • Game Dev & Design

  • Data & Analytics

  • Developer Management

  • Business Modeling

KT handles PR, social discussions, on-boarding, random brainstorming, web dev for Scribe, as well as some light DBA dabbling. He is a jack of all trades with years of experience in sales, marketing, management, public speaking, podcasting, streaming, book publishing, personal and business coaching, teamwork and leadership training, entrepreneurship, AI art creation, and 15 or so years in corporate IT doing everything from C coding and full stack web dev to enterprise-level Unix admin and database design and administration. Oh, and yes, he also founded one of the largest kilt-wearing organizations in the world and does wear them all the time.

KT is famous (notorious?) for out-of-the-box problem solving, creativity, and ideation. His big, positive personality and forward manner of speaking are appreciated by many.
